What is included
The layout is the part that pays you back
Most shops in Kathmandu lose money to their own floor plan long before they lose it to price. A counter placed where it blocks the door, shelving too deep to reach the back of, a till with no space to bag anything — all of it costs sales every day and none of it is fixable once the units are screwed down. We measure the space, ask what you sell and how much of it, and draw the layout before we quote. You see where every unit lands and how wide the aisles are while it is still a drawing.
Built at the workshop, not in your doorway
Carcasses are cut, assembled and polished at our workshop in Lotse Mall, Machhapokhari. Your shop keeps trading through that, which is usually two of the three weeks. When the units are ready the crew comes in, fits them, wires the lighting and clears up — most stores are open again within five to eight days of the shop closing.
Materials you can check before you agree
Solid plywood carcass as standard — not particle board, which swells the first monsoon a mop goes near it. Your choice of laminate or PU polish for the visible faces, soft-close hinges and runners throughout, and edge banding on every cut edge rather than the front ones only. We bring samples to the quote so you are choosing from the actual boards, not from a photograph.
Areas we cover
We take shop interior design & fitting work across the Kathmandu valley — Machhapokhari, Balaju, Gongabu, New Buspark, Samakhusi, Kalanki, Chabahil, Baneshwor, Koteshwor, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and the surrounding wards. The workshop is at Lotse Mall, Machhapokhari, Kathmandu, Nepal, so a site visit anywhere in the valley is a short trip rather than a scheduling problem.
Shop interior design & fitting — your questions
It depends on the floor area and the finish, so we do not publish a rate that would be wrong for your shop. After the site measure you get a fixed itemised quote — every unit, its size, its material and its price on one sheet — and that is the figure you pay. Payment is 40% to start, 40% when the units arrive on site and 20% on handover.
