What is included
The triangle, and where the water goes
Sink, hob and fridge form the path someone walks a hundred times a day. Placed badly — fridge across the room from the counter, sink around a corner from the hob — a new kitchen is more tiring than the old one it replaced. We draw that path first. Then we plan for water: the carcass under the sink and along the wet run is water-resistant board, because ordinary board in a Kathmandu kitchen swells at the base inside two years and no amount of finish hides it.
Storage that reaches the corners
The dead corner is where most kitchens waste a cubic metre of space. Carousels, magic corners and pull-out larders cost more per unit and pay for themselves in a kitchen this size. Tall units go to ceiling height rather than stopping short and collecting dust on top — we build to your actual ceiling, which is why everything is site-measured rather than assembled from stock widths.
Finishes, and what each one is like to live with
Laminate is the workhorse: hard-wearing, the widest choice, easiest to replace a single damaged door in. Acrylic gives the high-gloss seamless look and shows fingerprints in exactly the way you would expect. PU polish is the deepest finish and the most repairable. We show you all three at the quote and tell you honestly which one suits a kitchen that gets cooked in daily.
Areas we cover
We take modular kitchen work across the Kathmandu valley — Machhapokhari, Balaju, Gongabu, New Buspark, Samakhusi, Kalanki, Chabahil, Baneshwor, Koteshwor, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and the surrounding wards. The workshop is at Lotse Mall, Machhapokhari, Kathmandu, Nepal, so a site visit anywhere in the valley is a short trip rather than a scheduling problem.
Modular kitchen — your questions
It scales with the running length and the finish, so any figure quoted before a measure would be wrong. After the site visit you get a fixed itemised quote — each unit, its size, its material and its price — and that is what you pay. Payment is 40% to start, 40% on delivery and 20% on handover.
