- Where we work
- Kathmandu valley, from Lotse Mall, Machhapokhari
What is included
Why panelling instead of paint or plaster
It is dry work. There is no curing time, no dust through the rest of the house and no repainting a month later where the plaster cracked. A feature wall goes up in a day or two, over the existing surface, and it hides the wall behind it — which for a rented flat or an older building with an uneven wall is often the entire reason to use it.
PVC or WPC — they are not the same thing
PVC sheet is lighter and cheaper, comes in marble and printed finishes and is the right answer for a decorative feature wall or a ceiling. WPC is a wood-plastic composite: heavier, more rigid, better as louvers and charcoal panels, and it takes a fixing where PVC does not. Anything that has to hold weight or take knocks — a TV wall, a hallway — we specify in WPC.
The fitting is what shows
Panelling is judged entirely on its edges. Corners that do not meet, a louver run that drifts out of vertical across a wall, a trim that stops short of the ceiling — that is what the eye lands on, not the panel face. Our crew sets out the wall before fixing anything so the run lands with a full panel at the visible end and any cut panel in the corner nobody looks at.
Areas we cover
We take pvc & wpc wall panelling work across the Kathmandu valley — Machhapokhari, Balaju, Gongabu, New Buspark, Samakhusi, Kalanki, Chabahil, Baneshwor, Koteshwor, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and the surrounding wards. The workshop is at Lotse Mall, Machhapokhari, Kathmandu, Nepal, so a site visit anywhere in the valley is a short trip rather than a scheduling problem.
PVC & WPC wall panelling — your questions
It is priced per square foot and it varies with the panel type, so we quote after seeing the wall. A feature wall is one of the cheapest changes with a visible result; a full room costs more but is still well below plaster-and-paint with the mess removed.
